spiritulism and tarrot cards

Hi does anyone on here know anything about them I am really interested in learning abiout the tarrots and how accurate readings are x

Spiritualism and tarot cards are two different things.

My wife is a spiritualist - and an uncannily accurate medium (giving "proof" in the form of addresses, names, dates etc which she could not have possibly known).

She attends workshops and uses tarot. The cards themselves, despite what you may be led to believe from movies do not tell your fortune but act as a focus for the reader's mediumistic or phsychic powers.

I can't actually tell you much more because I'm not into it myself, but it's not really as easy as turning a few cards and getting definitive answers.

from my understanding of both, is that it is not something you learn but is a born gift.

that gift takes many forms, the gab being the firm leader.

the tarot has other uses as well as divination....readings vary...but there are some nice books out there few are any more than a collection of pretty pictures with generalised or attributed meanings... a book on the history rather than use of them is a better starting point I suggest you buy a pack and just get used to them...meditate on the images and see if it takes you anywhere learning to read them can come later if you are still interested. But don't set too much store on them...

Hmmmm, chrisrob, I completely agree. Sounds like you know much more about this subject than you are letting on.

78 cards, each with multiple meanings and when upside down mean totally different things. Quite handly to have a good memory too... Although they're not so hard to master. get your hands on the Mythic Tarot pack and the book that goes with them - great starter pack.

just stare at a sheet of blank paper (colour optional) or close your eyes. If paranormal powers exist and you have any then it should become apparent.
