Paypal/eBay question

Hi!
I have bought a few things from eBay before and always pay through pay pal and that's all worked fine....I have now sold my very first item on eBay and it's showing on eBay that the buyer has paid and so I logged into paypal to check if the money was there and it's not? Soooooo my question is: do I have to do something different to receive money on paypal? Or am I just being impatient?!
It's always been fine and money ok coming OUT of my account when I buy but now I'm confused about how I RECEIVE money?

Should go straight into your Paypal account - have you checked that the name they have bought in is the same as their Paypal account name (mine are different).

have you sent the buyer an invoice?

Hmmmm there's just nothing showing on my paypal at all under payments?
I haven't sent an invoice either, I didn't know that was needed, I have never received one when buying? x

Have you checked your emails (the email account you use for ebay)? You should have an email saying that they have paid, with a link to the payment at paypal.

Might take a little while to get into your account.

I had this recently and phoned paypal who confirmed money was not yet received. I sent an invoice at this point, and a couple of days later it was received.
