Hope somebody here can help me. I took a photo on my iphone 4 yesterday. When I try to send it to myself as an email attachement, it tells me that the photo size is 1.7 MB and suggests that I scale the image to small, medium or large to reduce the size of the message.
But if I choose large ( 330 KB) it comes out in my emails as very small and blury. The photo as seen on my iphone is perfect, with a great deal of detail and not blurry at all. So I have tried to send it by email at its full size, ie 1.7 MB. But it doesn't appear in my email in box, so I would guess the message has "failed" Is there a maximum size that a photo attachment to an email can be ?
I need to be able to print this off and need a nice sharp photo. So, how else can I transfer this to my Laptop, so that I can put it onto a memory stick and take it into Boots, Tesco, etc, etc ?
If I sync my iphone to itunes on the laptop, will photos on the iphone transfer as well ?
Sorry this is a bit long-winded ! Any help gratefully received !
Plug the phone in to the computer by the USB lead and use the windows scanner and camera wizard (start > all programs > accessories > scanner and camera wizard)
Thanks everybody. When I send the picture via email and choose the original size, 1.7mb, nothing seems to happen. How do I know if it has sent the email, if it hasn't arrived in my in box ?
It will take some time to send a 1.7mb file especially if you are sending over a 3G phone connection rather than wifi. You should see a spinning icon at the top of your iPhone if you are sending or receiving.
