I've never been called an 'esteemed customer' before. And I only held an account with them for 2 years from 1977-1979 but it's nice to know they still hold me in such esteem

I'm off to write an irate email to my bank...they've never addressed me with such respect when they want my details. Consequently,I've never replied back.

:-D
I get these regularly from someone claiming to be HSBC. I forward the email to "[email protected] - perhaps you could do the same to your bank.

I always used to report these to the phishing reporting sites at nat west, paypal, hmrc etc but have given up as the same emails seemed to keep coming, and I'm convinced they can't do anything about these as so many come from overseas and just keep moving from one IP address to another
My 'Hotmail' account seems to divert all of these scams into the junk folder. Never have a problem.
The worrying thing about about the Log-in address it begins with "https"which I assumed was always a secure site, obviouslyI am wrong.
Question Author
No -they spoofed (is that the word?) that address- it appears as that in the text but when you hover over it you get some other address which is nothing to do with Lloyds and isn't https.
Yes, mine usually go in spam but I do have to check the folder as some genuine stuff goes in there
Thanks for that F-F.
