Bt Phishing Email? Help Please.

Just had 2 emails from what looked like BT.

One to tell me my" PAYMENT HAS BEEN DECLINED" #AND A NUMBER..that wouldn't be true with much more than enough to pay it..plus its not due til 15th.

I usually get an email telling me "YOUR BILL IS READY TO SEE ONLINE" which is the second email...that would be correct as expected.

Having looked on the BT web site its advising to forward the mail to [email protected]. I did this but it was declined?

Any ideas what to do now please.

Almost certainly a scam cuppa !

If this is for your phone/internet service, how do you normally pay ? If so, check your bank account. You could also try calling BT.

On no account reply to these scams !

Will ring BT now. Bank account intact thank goodness.
Cuppa....as a precaution, it might be a good idea to change your email password ?

Thanks Mikey4444 I have been onto BT. The reason my email to phishing.com wasn't delivered is BT mail box full with mail, like mine.

They have a major problem this morning with so many such complaints.

Its sorted now with BT help.
