This number has been phoning me twice daily - 4 hours, 1 minute between calls.

I looked up the number and its a company claiming to call on behalf of BT.

People have reported that the company is not associated with BT.

I decided to actually answer it tonight, (my answerphone is always on, so a genuine company would leave a message - they haven't), and didn't give the caller a chance. Told them I knew that they weren't BT to which they confirmed that. Told them I knew that they weren't calling on behalf of BT - they tried to tell em that they were, to which I told them that I had already checked on the internet.

After I got rid of them, I got in touch with BT and they confirmed that is was a scam.

Thus I thought I'd let AB know.

They are a pain, I just hang up. We don't have a BT line.
