Assuming you actually use Gmail, then when viewing the email in question, at the top right of the email you will see three vertical dots (a vertical ellipsis!) which, when you put the cursor over it, will say "More". Click the three dots and, on the menu that appears, click "Show Original". A new tab will open in your browser. In that tab you will see the complete text-only version of the email that was sent to you. Near the very top you will see a table, and probably the third row of the table will read "From:". Alongside that it should say:
Google
If it doesn't say then then the chances are that somebody is trying to pretend to be Google in order to try to get you to disclose your logins somehow.
