Someone told me years ago, a friend who went along to this speaking in tongues caper, said somebody near him was actually speaking in Greek, as friend was Greek himself, he said he was coming out with a load a profanity!
At the risk of being called some kind of antagonist, I would love to hear Theland's view. But he just wont identify with any particular 'brand' of Christianity...except his own!
The idea that "you can be into this" is daft. I am a Christian and I have encountered this only twice over the last 50 years. They were among my formative religious experiences. I found them profoundly moving.
I do find it odd that people who evidently have no belief in Christianity keep asking what might be termed religious questions. If you think it's all ridiculous fine. If you are an atheist, fine. So go talk about something else.
