my HP Photosmart C4180 All-in-one printer has suddenly stopped photocopying, I can print and scan, any ideas anyone please?

You could try downloading the latest driver. My HP all in one did something similar. Updating the driver worked.

Ah... in that case, roll back to the old driver.

You can restore a past system backup, or try to download the driver you had before you tried to update and the trouble started, and install that instead.
