Hi paid something by PAY PAL on 19th June. Originally they said it would clear on 25th June, then it was delayed until 28th June, now they have just emailed the seller saying it won't clear until 2nd July. The funds came out of my bank account on 25th June. Is there anyone I can complain to? I can't get hold of a human on the phone, and the only link I can see on the net is to PAY PAL Europe. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any advice

With PayPal there are different accounts some can access the money straight away and others have to wait for i think 7-10 days before they can get at the money. The money shows in there PayPal account but cant be transferred to a bank account until the 7-10 days

It sounds as if this is an e-cheque, in which case proper procedure is being followed.

The seller will not send the goods out until the e-cheque is cleared into the PayPal account. This can take up to ten days.

There is no need for the seller to wait for the money to be transferred into his own bank account, and this is not what is happening.

This has occurred because you have used a different payment card to the ones you have on file with PayPal.
