Does anyone else think the FA have made one of their all-to-common cock-ups with the QPR situation and the timing of the enquiry into the alleged rule-breaking. Why couldn't it have been done and dusted weeks ago ? They've now got themselves into an awful position with potentially chaotic knock-on affects if they resort to points deduction. Surely football in general, and QPR in particular, deserve better than this.
It was discussed on the radio earlier this evening, and it's not the FA who are responsible for it taking this long - the independent QC at the submission hearing set this date and the volume of evidence has now further delayed the findings. You can hear this discussed at 6:20 into http://www.bbc.co.uk/...ive_Sport_05_05_2011/
They will probably wait until after the weekends results so that any points deduction will keep them in the top two and avoid the problems with rearranging the play off's. They will then hand them a fine to try and make it look as though the FA are in control of the situation...
