I was at Old Trafford and I couldn't believe it. It was up the other end, so I didn't realise how awful a miss it was till I saw it on TV. He is playing like someone with the weight of the world on his shoulders, but strangely enough, I thought it was his best game in a Chelsea shirt.

Yes- his miss was no worse than Rooney's penalty miss.
I have played football at a reasonable standard and whilst I would usually have tucked those away I know that it is possible to miss these- when you go round a goalkeeper at speed you can be off balance which can make it difficult to pull the ball back
