Chelsea are a laughing stock. They've sacked/forced out experienced manager after experienced manager. Then they go for "Jose Mourinho-lite" in AVB. If they don't give him the chance to develop himself and the team in his own mould then it'll just emphasise how obsessed they are by instant success - or at least the idea of it. No manager would touch them with a barge pole were it not for the obscene salary. If AVB gets the chop then I'd imagine no comparatively inesperienced manager would want to touch them either.
