F1 Predictions

Hi, hope someone can give me some ideas.

My son and I do football predictions every week and want to start doing a F1 predictions, yet it never seems to work. With football we get points for the home team goals, the away team goals and the result and because it is always number based it is easy to create a league.

With F1 we have tried predicting the top three, pole position and fastest lap etc but it doesn't work as good.

Does anyone do F1 prediction or has any ideas of how we can do it. I just feel I am looking at this the wrong way.
