I suppose I should point out that the 17M is a rumour.
The strangest thing about him is why Barca ever bought him. How could they think he would fit in?

BTW Howard, Eric Abidal dropped in on the first training session at the Camp Nou to say Hello to his teammates. Apparently he attends the gym there most days

I never viewed it as an ego thing although it may have been. Barca don't/didn't(can't) play with a target man. They didn't really have anyone who could/would hit the bye-line and cross the ball.

He's an outstanding player. I was delighted to see Hansen and co vote his Euro 2012 goal v France the best of the tournament. All super rich clubs trying to muscle into the big time will pay over the odds for players but Ibrahimovic is one of the better ones

He also has a remarkable record when it comes to winning titles. I think he did eight in a row in a sequence with Malmo, Ajax, Juvenus, Internazionale, Barca and AC Milan.

Never rated him but his goalscoring record is much better than i thought.

Have Sky on as I read this site, and they are saying £15 million. If he can turn PSG into CL contenders and deliver a title in France then I'm sure they will consider it well spent.
