Greatest Comeback
I had given up on last night's game at 4-0, as had quite a few Arsenal fans, only to find it was 4-3 when I was channel hopping a while later. I couldn't take my eyes off it thereafter. Can anyone remember a better comeback?
I once went to see Linfield play Finn Harps in the All-Ireland Cup, or Tyler Cup as it was back then, and they came back from 5-1 down to draw 5-5, then ruined it by losing on penalties, so hardly a comeback of Arsenal proportions.

The scoreline last night was crazy but in comeback terms it probably wasn't quite in the same league as Newcastle coming back from 0-4 after 67 mins v Arsenal or Sweden doing much the same thing v Germany in the World Cup earlier this month.
Incidentally I can remember Reading being involved in another 7-5 scoreline, v Doncaster Rovers I think, a few years ago.

Thank you Duncer.
There were some amusing tales from Arsenal fans who left early last night, including one who had an argument with a Reading taxi driver who told him it was now 4-4 and wasn't believed!
As for Koscielny avoiding a red card, the ref obviously decided the greater punishment for the team was for him to stay on the field ...

Always stay to the end.
I was taken to a County Antrim Shield game many years ago where Dsitllery led the Blues 4-1 with about 20 minutes to go. My mates' dad decided we were leaving, (well, it was his car and we were about twelve, and Belfast was ablaze at that time), so off we went. I got up to do my paper round the next morning and they had won 5-4, much to my disgust.
