I have to say I doubt that they can and I'd prefer an all German (Club) final, and I'm not gutted that Real Magrid were knocked out.

Uefa Cup 1987, Dundee Utd lost in the Final to Gothenburg after beating Barca 1-0 at home and 2-1 away, Barca managed by Terry Venables at the time!

Is this Arjen Robben the same Arjen Robben who could have been given a linesman's flag at Chelsea, provided he didn't have to run into his team's half of the pitch? If so , he has changed a bit. Though, when he did decide he might join in, defenders soon learned not to let him shoot with his left foot; the right one was just for standing on. Tonight, someone hadn't told them that.

The Barca defenders obviously didn't learn their lesson, fred, beause Robben's ghoal was of the classic cut-in-from-the-right-and-curl-a-shot-in-with-the-left-peg variety.

Aparently, Messi had a slight hamstring strain, which accounted for his zero minutes on the pitch tonight.
