read all about it.
I've noticed lately somebody keeps posting the results of important matches in the question headline.
Eg. QPR & Reading down.
A lot of us like to watch matches (live) in the evening so please word your questions in a way that doesn't spoil our enjoyment of the game. Thank-you.

And don't put the result in the question text either - put something anodyne like "spoilers coming in next reply" and then answer your own question with as much info as you like in the first reply - which no-one will accidentally see on the AB front page of recent questions.

I can't see that someone posting results or up-date of matches can spoil your enjoyment, if you are actually watching live matches.

But it is the case that I don't really appreciate the game which is called football and which I always knew as Soccer; as opposed to real football, which of course is Rugby or Rugger.

I think Svejk means watching "as live" - a time-shifted recording.
Will do, sweaty.

@alston. Live in brackets.ie. MotD.
Cheers Svejk. I now understand and agree with your OP.

Same as those people who put "oh my god...Bill Smith has just been killed in Corrie" (or whatever program they happen to be watching).

Many people now have TV boxes allowing them to record programs and watch them days or weeks or even months later.

I have things on my Sky box I recorded in January and February I have not watched yet.

So please remember just because YOU know what happened not everyone else wants to know.
Don't wanna know what happened?

.......then keep out of here until you've watched programme

Can't see why people are whingeing, if you don't wanna know football results before watching MOTD then keep away from all media
