Lads Weekend Away In Wales

Are there any decent places in Wales for approx 8 to 10 lads in their 30's

Looking ideally for a barn/house that we can all stay in with big back garden and then a few decent places to go out at night.......... Also maybe things to do in day also......

Cardiff has lots of shops, touristy bits and maybe some Rugby on depending on when you go. Probably your top bet for nightlife, clubs anyway.

Swansea has The Mumbles, a beautiful part of the world with lovely walking, cycling or beach possibilities.

Barns and places with big gardens (unless you find a hostel or bunkhouse near a beach or field or something) may be a bit out of the way so bear in mind public transport unless any of you drive and taxi fares to get all the way back.

Tenby is lovely, boat trips are great and they do ones to coves with a BBQ in the summer and there is an old island to explore, the beach and, of course, the beach. Maybe some watersports or a fishing trip. You might find something more rustic round there or a bit along the coast. Quite a few pubs there.

Aberystwyth is a nice little town. It's a university town so although small it's packed with bars and a good amount of young bars as well as more traditional bars (watch the very traditional, if you don't speak Welsh fluently best to avoid them). There are the sand dunes up at Ynyslas (http://www.visitmidwales.co.uk/Borth-Ynyslas-National-Nature-Reserve/details/?dms=13&venue=1012220) and some lovely drives down the coast or up to Snowdonia which is a stunning part of the world. You could go climb Snowdon (or take the train up/down).

A fair few bunkhouses round Snowdonia but not a huge amount of nightlife round there.

Lake Bala is another possible, lots of watersports on offer.

My friend stayed here for a hen weekend http://sleeps12.com/property/thecottagebeyond/gallery which sounds like the kind of thing you want (although it's not in Wales, you can search the site and see other places too) - she said it was brilliant and they had someone come in and cater for them one night which she said was excellent.

Two places spring to mind. Firstly, Bluestone, which is in Narbeth. Luxury lodges, lagoon style pool, spa, etc. They also have a wide range of activities, including the high ropes which are great fun!
The lodges vary in price, but you could fit all ten of you into one of the bigger ones - Grassholm or Gateholm. No cars are allowed on site, but everything is within walking distance. You can also hire bikes or golf buggy's for the duration of your stay.
It's popular with families, but also same sex groups. It's not rowdy though, so don't expect anything like that.
Second place that springs to mind is a place called The yurt Farm, which is in Tredegon, West Wales. It's glamping at it's best!
Set on an organic farm, there's only 5 yurts in total, and a train carriage. Each yurt is complete with proper wooden beds and mattresses, a two ring gas hob, kitchen equipment, and a woodburner. There is a fire pit outside each yurts, for either outdoor cooking or a to sit around in the evening with a few beers. There are inside toilets and shower, which are completely eco friendly and powered by wind and solar. There is a communal cabin area,which houses a full kitchen, sofa, woodburner, board games and books. Next to the cabin is an outdoor seating area complete with large fire pit and pizza oven. The yurts are set on a fully organic working farm, so you can expect free range organic eggs for breakfast, and a range of organic meat, fruit and Vegas, which is all freely available.
There's some stunning beaches nearby, and loads of opportunities to take a boat trip and go whale and dolphin spotting.
