At the weekend, both have games against teams in the lower half of the table, but I think the clincher is April 27th, when they play each other. Chelsea are at home to Sunderland on Saturday afternoon (5:30 p.m. kick-off) and Liverpool are away to Norwich on Sunday (12:00 p.m. kick off). I think that Liverpool are still in the box seat, because the other two games (Apart from when they play each other) are a day later than Chelsea. They know what they've got to do to lift the PL Trophy. IF they do Chelsea at Anfield, they'll have the 5-point cushion.

That's it.
So, assuming Arsenal win the FA Cup against Hull, they won't take up their Europa League place if they finish 4th and go into the Champions League.
The Europa League will go to the FA Cup runners up ... Hull.
So Hull could play in Europe, if Arsenal finish 4th.
And Arsenal finishing 4th is more likely if they beat Hull in the Prem.
So ... Hull are likely to be in Europe ... as long as they let Arsenal beat them in the Prem.
Or, put another way ... beating Arsenal could prove very costly for Hull.
Hull need to throw that game.

yes, This season, as Manchester City won the Capital One Cup and are likely to finish in the top four, their place will go to the club who finish sixth in the Barclays Premier League table... if the Gunners win the FA Cup and finish outside of the top four they will enter the group stage of the UEFA Europa League as FA Cup winners and an extra place will go to the club who finish seventh in the Barclays Premier League.
So if ManU finish above Spurs then they are definitely in the Europa cup, and they will also be in it under that other combination of results. (this is the 1st time i've got this info correct)
