Person does come with some "baggage".

Racist comments on his phone, fighting with opposition players, and much more.

While he seems to be a good manager I think many teams will be worried about the "image" issues with the club if they appoint him (most now rely on sponsorship and advertising).

And if an Asian buyer was looking to buy the club he may be put off if Pearson was there (due to the racist messages on his phone).

I don't think Garde is experienced enough and neither was Sherwood.

If he does return to the Baggies, JP will be expected to lay down the law, we dont stand for racism nonsense at The Hawthorns. Rememeber how Cyril dealt with a banana thrower in the 70´s?

The way it's looking everybody will finish above the Villa, Hopkirk. Unless normal service is resumed pretty damned quick. Can't be having the Baggies thinking their good can we.

no matter how much i dislike the villa, the baggies will find the premier a lonely place without them, as we will unlikely be seeing the likes of the dingles+the bluenoses for a while yet, lol
