Yes, it's clearly ridiculous to appoint a manager who's been sacked elsewhere.
For example, what the hell were the Leicester City board thinking of when they appointed a manager who'd been sacked by Valencia, Parma and Juventus, as well as by two national sides (Monaco and Greece)? It was obviously a completely stupid thing to do!
