Hi all, has anyone set one up for us to join... I've looked through the football and sport section and can't find one... if there is one that I'm missing a link would be appreciated.

I had no choice but to go with De-gea in goal, Iniesta, Pique, Alves... in fact I have a bit of a Spanish contingent going from the start and although playing deep midfield Rooney had to be in there. No disrespect to Kane (Shearer went through a dry spell) but he is looking tired hope Hodgson starts with the team that finished against Wales (Lhama instead of Rashford though).

Hi Arks. Don't forget the transfer window is back open from the 25th. You have 11 transfers, I think, and they are to carry you through to the final. All players who are eliminated or not likely to get to the semis must go and you need to keep a couple of transfers for the eventual finalists. I think I may keep my powder dry this round and have a look at who clicks.

Hi Togo, Not too bad one player eliminated but had to change another to accommodate otherwise I may have just left him on the flight home.
I'm upto 78 points a bit slow going and now with the elimination rounds more teams are likely to have the same remaining players.

Morning Arks. I was in the process of tweaking my side whilst you were posting. I have made 5 changes based on todays and tomorrows games, and who I think will win. Have binned Buffon in goal and put in Neuer and hooked Chiellini the other Italian. I think Spain will beat Italy so pointless keeping them when I can put points on the board today and tomorrow. Gone 4-4-2 as well. 100pts so far. Lol, school report says must do better.

I think the day I joined Spain were due to play that evening or the following day, that's also the reason for a strong Spanish presence in my team. As in your earlier post, I think it's a good idea to save transfers for later, as the cliche' states It's a funny ol' game so predicting a winner can be tricky.

Or maybe I'm just useless at it, unless the given fixture is blindingly obvious.

I'm hoping for Germany, France, and Belgium this weekend. Have left my Spanish players in for Monday. Have kept away from Wales and Croatia for now . Come Monday I will put English players back in.

Whoo hoo Arks 45 points today. Still out of sight with the clever clogs in overall list though. Get the England boys in tomorrow and use up my transfers I think. Haha. Truth be told, this is not a bad forum to access and navigate after the Sky site. There seems to be no up and download lag and once you familiarise with the format it is quite enjoyable. Doing well, not too bad myself today 36pts. taking me upto 119. Half my team play tomorrow with my Spain contingent and existing England Players that I have, however I'm going to make a couple of changes.

Good Luck yourself, as you say a way to go to catch the leaderboard they were nearly on 200 pts when I joined. It looks a bit better in Teddy and Shearers leagues as I did start a bit late.

Glad to see you are both doing well in the Euro Fantasy Football.
I didn't bother to join (too busy with other things just now) but I am getting
prepared for the Sky Sports AB League which will soon be with us.

They should get a few tonight, and then take on France and then possibly Germany in the Final

Hi x-ray, it is a pity you gave this one a swerve. In fairness the site produced by the Sun is not bad, if you have looked back at our previous posts, you will see that it has been given the thumbs up for ease of access and navigability. We will certainly have to do an AB dream team league as we did last year. Arks and I have reported early for pre-season training, and tactical awareness lessons. Haha, will give L.I.K and Robbie a run for their money next season.

Hiya X-Ray and Togo, Don't forget the title holder MightyWBA who always does well. I'm going to do a Leicester City on you all next season the preparations (tactical awareness lessons :-) are well under way. With the release of the provisional fixture list and playing this has certainly wet my whistle for the new season. England should go through tonight as we only have one drawback...Roy.

Well after Mondays total disaster with both Spain and England I only have four player left in my team brought Ronaldo back in for tonight's game but not risking any further transfers until match-day games... you never know what might happen in training. I did manage to scrape upto 130pts though.

Hi Arks, up to 180 points, but done for now. Gambled all on Germany beating France and bombed. Only Got Sagna in my team now and no transfers. Lol. Note that Lie in has posted details of this years AB fantasy football league with links and a PIN no.

Well my final score was 219: Payet, Nani, Griezmann adding 3pts each as bonuses. Not too bad the overall winner of the main leaderboard finished with 310pts.
As you posted Togo, Arks and I have reported early for pre-season training, and tactical awareness lessons. Love it. Time for tea and a biscuit whilst we wait for the main event. See you there.
