A lot is said about Mercedes and BMW plans to build these cars in Mexico, and Trump threatens huge import taxes if that happens.
But both companies have been building cars in German and them exporting them to America, where they are enthusiastically bought by Americans.
So what is it so different if they built in Mexico ?

Strange for a businessman, would have thought he was in favour of using labour wherever it was cheapest and short-circuiting the national labour market; but I suppose being president gives a different set of priorities.
