The Mater - Mouth/jaw
7 Answers
Let me describe - anybody, esp Sqad have any ideas as to what?
The mater had a lower wisdom tooth that the dentist cleaned and dressed just before Christmas...ideally it should come out.
In the last two or three days, we have had a bit of a quandary to what is going on. She's putting her finger in for the upper teeth right and is finding eating difficult - down the left side for the food to keep it away from the area.
The carer has felt a small lump under her jawline but this seems to be coming and going, as I haven't felt it.
I took her to the dentist yesterday but she couldn't see anything other than a little bit of gum swelling but nothing unusual as she said. The joke was 15 minutes before we had used a coffee shop for a tea and the mater had some cake and had the issue recur - in the dentist no pain though - and that's what we have - in and out as such.
I have been to the pharmacist this morning, Mr Lo whose English was very low..... Made out that he thought it could be levothyroxine related.....? She's on this, low aspirin, bisoprolol, perindopril and donepezil.....
Any ideas anybody?

It doesn't seem, from your post, a big deal.
" She's putting her finger in for the upper teeth right and is finding eating difficult - down the left side for the food to keep it away from the area. "
I can't understand the above......is there any other way that you can describe the problem?
I just wonder of may have a stone in her salivary gland that is giving her that intermittent swelling under her jaw and problems with eating.
I look forward to your post.
