Hi everyone! Yes, it's back! With 32 days until kick-off, I've taken the liberty of restarting our very own Answerbank League.

Hopefully all the regulars will enter a couple of teams & let's hope that a few more fancy having a go this season. Don't worry if you know *nothing* about football but still want to give it a try - you can use the option to have a team selected at random. The facility to enter a 3rd team in January will also be available.

As last year, we're given £100m to spend & have unlimited transfers until the Match Day deadline on Saturday 12th August, then you get 5 per week / 40 for the season. This season, there's a new "Overhaul" feature, which means that for one week in September & one week in February, *unlimited* transfers will be available, *not* coming out of the 40 per season allowance! I like that idea & think it could prove very interesting indeed!

- I'd suggest using the "Help" tab, then the "How To Play" tab.

When you've picked a team (or two) - yourself, or used automatic selection, name your team(s), then join the League - ours is called "AnswerBank" & the PIN you need to enter is -

You can then change the visibility of your team(s) between "Public" & "Private", depending on whether you want other Managers to be able to see the details. A note here - just because I'm called the League "Chairman" doesn't mean I'm given special powers. I can't see "Private" teams & I get no other privileges.

Hiya Chaps, I've being looking about everywhere and come up with as much as Togo, when I had to re-install PC a few years ago all my details where lost. It was sheer fluke that I'd logged in on Bro's Comp at some point and it remembered details.
I'm still working on it for a suggestion, would be good to have you on board FF.

Morning all. Not long for Kick off now and I have been sorting out the injuries. Injuries?? We haven't even started yet. It is just a guessing game for now with the transfer window open for 2 more weeks, and having to get a team sorted without losing a player to the European wilderness. Coutinho being one such conundrum. I picked up good points with him last year but dare not include him for fear of having to use a precious transfer or wait for the September free for all with a player who has become extinct. Plus players are coming in and we don't know whether they will be added to the pick in the near future. Stoke signed a player last night, will he be available? Is Bale gonna be available? Hmmmm.

I know what you mean Togo when it comes to injuries... We haven't even started yet. it is unbelievable. They're too many if's and buts in the transfer window, at least we do have one in September for a week where it doesn't affect our allocated 40 lot for the season. I also picked up some good points from Coutinho, I've already decided on that one, undecided about Sancez... though Man City or even abroad either way he might be considered unplayable by Wenger but can wait for Fridays line up before the 7:45 KO.

I've got one team written down, am fairly happy with it. The transfers & injuries are making my head hurt. Owie.

Exactly Arks. I think it may just be diligent to pick a team that is definitely going to have starting and staying players for the first couple of weeks, then see how the land lies after the dust settles(I love mixed metaphors)and hopefully take advantage of the likely new additions. Thing is the transfer window is open for another 23 days so will all the changes be updated before our freebie buffet is closed? Perhaps a team from HQ could be Worder Brimmin? Rapid Wine? 2Loos? Whatfor'd? I resisted any pun involving Naples or Arsenal. Good lad I am. :))

Well you have a good point Togo, my decision about Sánchez has been made for me, he's going to miss the first two games for sure.

Costa's certainly not an option, He's being seen clowning around in A circus today in Brazil. Makes change from on a football pitch.

Right then! Both teams are sorted. I think. For now at least. I still need more money. Hoping my 2 "unknown quantities" deliver the goods. Ah, but hang on...what about him? Aaaarrrghhhh.

Has anyone heard from f-f? Is he looking in? Did he manage to get sorted? Why haven't the Eds/Techies submitted teams yet? Is anyone else going to join the league before the 1st match tomorrow? Who shouted "All aboard the express train to Fingersout & Getamoveon!"?

These questions need answers.

Hiya LIK, nope not heard from FF... there's still time and for Mighty to join us although his last post was on last seasons final league table.

No Idea about the others, I think Spare-Ed at the time was a one off.
