Hi everyone! Our starter thread will soon pass its sell-by date, so this one will keep us showing in Latest Posts. Here's the original thread -

I'll post a new thread around this date each month & ask Ed to alter the "sticky" status for us.
I hope everyone's managing to keep on top of the injuries & bans thrown into the mix so far?
This weekend (Game Week 4) looks like this -
Saturday - 7 matches, 1st kick-off 12:30
Sunday - 3 matches, 1st kick-off 1:30
There are no matches in Game Week 5 & I'd like to remind you all to take note of the following from the Sky "Help" page -
"The first Overhaul period will begin following the completion of game week 4. It will then run throughout game week 5 and up until the first kick off of game week 6."
The "Overhaul" period is when you have *unlimited* transfers that *don't* come off the 40 per season allowance. Of course, you're still limited to a total value of £100m.
In effect the period runs from Monday 3rd September to Saturday 15th September (up to the 1st kick-off at 12:30).
I'll certainly be having a shuffle round, having made a very disappointing start to the season.
I hope fun continues to be had & everyone stays well :-))
Mind, I've been here during the bad times too. One year we came second.

I'm in two minds as mid-table isn't too bad this early and week one was a non starter for me... but I'll have a think as players do get Injured whilst away (Some in training).
Good luck this weekend everyone.

It is indeed Rowan, at least at this juncture we have the 'Overhaul period' when they come back strapped up. Unlike mid season when half of your FF team has a sick note after International duty and are forced to use otherwise necessary transfers.

Arky - ta for the bump, I've been a smidge preoccupied with sundry nonsense today, no time to call my own until now.
I've had a word & a couple of players admitted they couldn't be bothered, so I've shown them the door. Of course, if past experience is any guide, they'll now have great games & those I've introduced will be no-hopers all of a sudden...
I hope everyone is keeping up with their teams & Captain changes & that a good weekend is had by all - be well :-)

Hi L.I.K. Yeah, yeah... slacking off again, I don't know...what are you like. This is fantasy football mate getting your priorities all wrong ;-)
No problem with the bump, like this one... I think some-ones being a bit naughty on AB, there was nothing untoward on this thread I know the user name but won't post it.
As for using the overhaul... I had to make more changes than first intended due to the budget restrictions... but hey ho... I guess you've picked the same players so down the league we go ;-)

Had a little look and couldn't really find much to change. Seem to have been lucky with my original choices particularly the lesser lights. Pointer. Did you realise that Watford( or is that Wolves :-} ) are where Leicester were 2 years ago? So will twiddle my thumbs for a night and see if there are any bombshells in the morning. Notice that we have a few "spare ribs" posts on the thread. But when I check for who I think posted I am getting active?
