Hi everyone - this is our latest thread, the previous one is here -

https://tinyurl.com/4565c95w

It's looking likely that following the death of the Queen, this weekend's games (at least) will be postponed. However, as the previous thread will stop showing in Latest Posts on Sunday & we need somewhere current to be able to post to with info, I'm starting this new thread now.

Game Week 6 is due to start tomorrow & the full schedule *as things stand* looks like this -

Sat 10th - 6 matches, 1st kick-off 12:30
Sun 11th - 3 matches, 1st kick-off 14:00
Mon 12th - 1 match, kick-off 20:00

The second link can be useful near to, or on, Game Days, though final updates can be infuriatingly late.

You can set your Captains for all upcoming match days in advance or choose them daily before the first kick-off.

I'll post any updates as soon as I'm able & as usual, I'll post further reminders & schedules during the coming month.

Stay safe & well, all :-)

You beat me to it, Arky -

Hi all three games have already been postponed for the up coming weekend:

Chelsea v Liverpool
Manchester United v Leeds

Brighton against Crystal Palace had already been postponed because of rail strikes.

I do believe that the proposed strikes are no longer going ahead though.

You beat me again, Arky :-)

I'll post again on Thursday with what remains of the schedule.
Well you do like a Li-in, respect ;-)
Hows the back?
Question Author
Hmmm, at the moment, not so much having lie-ins as staying as long as I can. Back's not great, but liveable-with.
Take it steady my friend, I've dithered around in my own home walking like I've kacked my pants having a bad back.
Thise games are due to take place on Sunday, Arky.

Maybe the Chelsea v Liverpool match has been postponed because of perceived transport problems in London (Brentford v Arsenal shouldn't really be affected). Can't understand the Man Utd v Leeds match being PP'd though?

Hi Ken - it's down to the policing of the matches -

Yes the police have being asked to assist from neighbouring counties oop north in that there London this weekend.

My post was referring more to the fantasy football, not European games, So sorry that the Queen's passing has disrupted your gambling Ken.
It didn't, Arky. She wasn't Queen of the Republic of Ireland and there are also plenty of racecourses in America and elsewhere :-)_
Smooth ;-)
