Tomorrow's early PL kick off is the Everton v Arsenal match. Everton are in dire straits and i doubt whether even the mercurial Sean Dyche can save them - though i'd put money on him to bring them back up at the first attempt.
Since 1994, there has only been one 0-0 draw between these sides when Everton have been the hosts and though that came as recently as 2019, the Gunners have improved out of all recognition since then and sit proudly at the top of the tree, 5 points clear and with a game in hand. What's more, they have scored in every single one of their 10 away matches thus far this season.
So i will happily take Willy Hill's very generous EVENS (ought to be 1/33) that a goal is scored anytime during the game.
I noticed this in-shop yesterday morning and a couple of early birds were taking advantage of it this morning. I reckon it will be up within the first 15 minutes.
I recall watching it, Ich. My only consolation was that Bet365 returned my stake money because of the 0-0 result. They call it a 'Bore Draw' refund and while some 0-0 draws are quite entertaining and don't deserve the insult, that gamed certainly did - in spades.
I hope that match isn't an omen for it was also a 12.30 kick off :-(
Thought the goal was very welcome indeed, it didn't come from where i had expected it to. Good start for Sir Sean Dyche and it was Tarky who scored it - his first in an Everton shirt.
