Hi everyone - with 11 days to the start of the new season in the Premier League, I've taken the liberty of restarting our AnswerBank League at Sky Sports -

As last season, we're given £100m to spend per team & have unlimited transfers until the Match Day deadline on Friday, 11th August. From then on you get 5 per Game Week, with a maximum of 50 for the season. They've kept the "Overhaul" feature, when *unlimited* transfers will be available, *not* coming out of the 50 per season allowance - this is always quite handy! This season though (from what I can tell at the moment) it'll only be available once - Game Week 22 (?) in January. I'll add more info as it becomes available.

In there, scroll down to "Captain Changes" - you should read that section.

Hopefully all our regulars will enter a couple of teams each. If you've not joined in before & fancy having a go this season, don't worry if you know *nothing* about football - you can use the option to have a team selected at random.

When you've picked a team (or two) - yourself, or used automatic selection, name your team(s), then join the League - ours is called "AnswerBank" & the PIN you need to enter is -

You can then change the visibility of your team(s) between "Public" & "Private", depending on whether or not you want other Managers to be able to see who you've picked. When your team is created, click your "Team Name" button above the pitch, then click the switch from "Public" to "Private".

A note here - just because I'm called the League "Chairman" doesn't mean I'm given special powers. I can't see "Private" teams & I get no other privileges.

Ok, I think that's covered everything needed to get the League going – I’ll post reminders every now & again, more often as the opening day nears & then for each Game Week.

Hopefully the last question - how do I change the Captain
when I change my mind - can't seem to be able to do this.

You can only change Captains on a match day *up to* the 1st kick-off. After that, you can't do it.

You should have no trouble changing as often as you want *before* 1st kick-off - click "Captains" button above the pitch & choose from the players you have available.

Afternoon all - Game Week 3 begins tonight & the full schedule looks like this -

Fri 25th - 1 match, kick-off 20:00
Sat 26th - 6 matches, 1st kick-off 12:30
Sun 27th - 3 matches, 1st kick-off 14:30

You can set your Captains for all match days in advance or choose them daily before the first kick-off.

Hi Moorea your captain will have already played in that game so done his duty... you'll see an 'C' over your player selected as the captain for today... and PC for tomorrows game. They disappear once the game has being played... but you still get the points.
