Good Morning Early Birds

Good Thursday morning, Birdies.  Another broken night's sleep for me.  The coughing and wheezing are no better so I've decided to break open the emergency pack of Prednisolone.  I'm not keen on taking it but I've not got a lot of choice and the last course I took not so long ago really did the trick.

 

A certain person forgot to take the rolls out of the freezer last night so it's just as well I got up.  He'd soon moan if he had no lunch to take to work today.  

 

The weather doesn't sound too clever out there so if you can avoid going out today, I would!  Nevertheless, whatever you're up to, have a lovely day everyone.

I just wish I could sleep.  I know that someone before lunchtime today I will be struggling to stay awake.  As well as the coughing I've woken up all bunged up, like my nasal passages have been filled with cement.

My husband's had it worse than me, Arky, which is unusual.  He doesn't catch many colds.  He could sleep on a washing line, the lucky devil.  

I must pop down and get the flu jab as soon as I'm feeling better.

When I sleep must admit I can sleep through a tornado.

A bit early in the year for my annual flu jab, not sure what's happening anymore

Our flu jabs at work tend to be available from early September but I think the COVID jabs were delayed - not that I'm going to have a COVID jab ever again.

Good morning hun, what do I know? Nothing lol, I just have a chest infection (but am just fine), it's pretty dark and windy today so far - no idea how the day is going to pan out.  We are selling out car today thru CAZOO - yes, the ones on the tv ads! Just going to see what figure they come up with when they arrive - their valuation so far has been very generous but I'm fully aware that they will knock it down when they arrive. On my defence our car has ver very low mileage for its age!!

We are going to get a smaller car - just don't need one this big.

Yes if you mean my friend who has that 'episode' late last night the other night, who had her teenage son asleep upstairs- she is absolutely fine now. Has been seen by everyone necessary - had taken far too many of her legally prescribed meds, just way too many of them, and they had a very bad reaction. Quite scary really.

Morning, I think we must have escaped the wrath of storm Agnes or I go comatose when I sleep, the bedroom is always open a couple of notches and I heard the blinds rattle a little but that was it, it's dark and ominous out there this morning so rain probably coming .

Oh sorry Lady, no Ive not heard a thing at all, apart from that I think I said on here (??). That it came to light there is a guy snatching cats around here, don't ask me why! And rumours that this homeowner has possible caught this guy trying to snatch his cats as he has several....... I don't know x
