Game Week 16 starts tomorrow & the schedule looks like this -

Sat 25th - 7 matches, 1st kick-off 12:30
Sun 26th - 2 matches, 1st kick-off 14:00
Mon 27th - 1 match, kick-off 20:00

You can set your Captains for all upcoming match days in advance or choose them daily before the first kick-off.

A reminder to pay attention to orange & especially red exclamation marks next to players on your pitch & to make any transfers you need or want to. The 2nd link above can be helpful with extra info about injuries & suspensions.

I'll post further reminders & schedules during the coming month.

L-i-K, Arksided, anyone - Help!  When trying to transfer injured players, a notice comes up saying "weekly transfer list exceeded" - how come when I haven't transferred anyone this week? The green"confirm"does not appear and still remains grey. Thanks.

Moorea - sorry, I missed your post.  I've never seen the problem you describe!  Hopefully clever Arky will be about this evening...

On your pitch view, above "Captains" should be -

Transfers - WK 5/5 (xx/50) (xx is how many of 50 you have left for the season).

Does yours say 5/5 (so 5 out of 5 remaining)?

Do you have 2 teams & the same problem with both?

It looks as though I am in dire trouble as it says 0/5 and 0/50 - I know I had a bit of trouble with Captains at the start of the competition so probably doing the wrong thing!  Anyway, will just have to soldier on and hope my remaining players play well!
Both teams have three injuries so ....!  I will probably end up with just one or two players in each team - oh well!   What happens when the injured player returns - will he be shown as back in the team (without the transfer)?  Thanks again.

Ah. Oh. Erm... It does sort of look as though you've used your transfers, rather than just changing the captains (though Arky or someone else may be able to offer another explanation).

If you click the injured player's shirt (pitch view) his window will open & top-right (under the shirt) it will give the estimated return date.  Mine are showing as tomorrow, so I'm holding fire until the morning.

Leaving an injured player in is fine, he won't move from your team.  When he's fit (& chosen by the real-life manager), he'll be available to play & for you to use as a Captain again (should you want to, of course).

Your last paragraph is, at least, a relief to read!  Will I be able to change some of the team in January '24 - seem to remember you saying something about that?

Yes, the free transfer ("Overhaul") period will be from the end of Game Week 21 to the start of Game Week 23 -

3rd Jan > 13th Jan (before 1st kick-off that day).

On opening the window under the shirt, I have found that some are due back tomorrow, some 75% certain to return and one suspended for a week so things look a little brighter!  I'll know where to check now!

Hi Moorea, sorry I wasn't about yesterday. I can offer no other explantion other than you've used all your tranfers, you can still select captains for upcoming games with your existing players. (Before the first kick-off of the day)

and the injured players will automatically appear back in your team without having to do anything, of course they'll only gain points for you if they're fielded.

^^  OK thanks.  I have made the mistake of thinking I should transfer all injured players without realising they might be fit for next game!  Novice will learn and move on!
