This is mine, most of the team is involved, great inter passing but the icing on the cake is the way Pele spots Alberto and lays the perfect T up pass and Alberto wacks is so hard both his feet are off the ground, stunning!

notice gazza touches it only twice and it doesn't touch the ground in between. Wonderful goal.

9th May 1987;  A simple, everyday cross, met by a simple, everyday header. But this goal from Ian Britton saved Burnley FC from going into extinction. No-one in the town believes that, had we gone down, we would never have climbed back up. The rest, as they say, is history.

 

 

 

That should read, no-one would EVER believe we would climb back up.
