Hello everyone with L.I.K on loan to his sofa 😉, thought I'd just start a waffle thread for questions, natter, banter etc...
I won't be doing updates though like the trustworthy and reliable L.I.K.

I'm still finding my way around the site myself but will help if I can or some other kind soul maybe able to.

I was going to post the latest Answerbank league tablebut can't at the moment as it says the Fantasy site is being updated - check back later..

If I remember the leader was Hack Knee Empire closely followed by Togo's Tiers for Fears and someone called NMArmy. I'm not sure what I'm doing and I've lost out by not taking up double/triple points and other offers, and I'm struggling to make transfers as the process seems unwieldy, but it's a marathon not a sprint.

I'm propping up the table so there's no rush to post our league yet 😉 If you do post it and copy and paste don't forget to delete managers real names.

Transfers does seem a bit confused as to what we were used to, seems one free transfer per gameweek but you can accumulate them upto five.

It also seems there's a point deduction if you use a transfer that's not free. I'm still unsure myself on that one.

In a thread heading, use "Shift+Enter" to get a single line space, "Enter" gives a double line space.

It's all very confuddling to my small brain, but I've managed to use both my free transfers so far.  Given the £100m limit to buy 15 players, I think many are out of reach without heavily weakening the rest of the formation.

Hi L.I.K yeah I remember from before, they were single spaces when I submitted it, I think they should have been left as double.

I don't think you can change daily Captains either I tried last week, just Captain and vice Captain, ok for this weekend but an extended one well..

I've tried to do transfers but the options then are ambigous- I can't remmeber the wording but it's not as simple as Confirm Transfer. I've done what seemed to be right but then when i look at me team it hasn't changed

As far as I can see the names people use don't have to be real names - I'm not really called Bernard O'Silver and I doubt Tiers for Fears' manager is called Togo in real life.  The team details, are on a  public forum but if it's an issue I won't provide a link or paste annything

nma - there's a "Save Team" button at the bottom of the pitch to click after making any changes.

Thanks. I'm doing it wrong then as the person I think I've transferred doesn't appear on my team sheet- the old name is there.  I'll look again next time I can get in.

Ok last week when I made a transfer it didn't appear until the Game week kicked off, so you may have done it correctly.

As for posting league your fine to do so but some are real names though just delete them, My first name is Anthony but last isn't Kidd.

* It's Answerbank that's an Anonynous site so I just deleted them, should be easy with so few teams this season.

I can confirm that if you make a transfer four points will be deducted if it's not a 'Free' transfer, and a further four points for each additional transfers outside the 'Free' zone.

Transfered players will still be ineffective until the next game week.

Newmodarmy, did your transfers take effect? assuming you tried it before the dead line KO.
