Bought it on Saturday and there was a little charge in it so  used it for about 15 minutes - then according to instructions I started to charge - the red light constantly remains on and it should turn to green - would anybody think there is anything wrong - thanks - does say in the booklet 16 hours but mine is well over that

try it. unplug it and turn it on, if it sounds good and its working, then plug it back in on charge, as its not quite ready. they do take a long time to charge from flat.

The manual says "The light will show red while the sweeper is charging and green while it is running":

So I'd only expect to see a green light when the machine is actually in use.

The manual also says: "Do not charge for longer than 24 hours".  So, if I was you, I'd simply assume that it must be fully charged by now and try using it.

We have a dyson rechargeable one and find that when we use it then plug it straight on to charge the light stays on but if we leave it to cool down before charging the light goes out after it has charged.

yes - and it is good to suck the oul crumbs LOL - all my life I always great suction power in vacuums but this glides all over and I hope it suits me - it'll  have to do be as I am an OUL woman.   LOL
