Corsham Charity Quiz

To all the members that have enquired about this quiz the sheets are now available. There are 300 questions and the price per quiz is �3.00, all monies going to Breast Cancer Awareness.

Quiz sheets are available from the Manager, Corsham Community Centre, Beechfield Rd, Corsham, Wilts,SN13 0BN. If you send SAE to the above I will ensure that you recieve a copy.

This charity has been adopted by the Centre for 2006 as one of our younger members is being treated for breast cancer. Clubs within the centre ( eg Darts, Snooker Football) are carrying out fund raising activities throughout the year. As we hold a quiz once a month I was asked to compile the Charity Quiz.

Thanks for enquiry. There is usually someone at the centre during the daytime so you can pick one up. If there is'nt then leave yr name address through letter box and i will bring one over to you.

is the centre open on a sunday. I went there today but i went next door by mistake and they told me there was nobody there till the evenings

Open lunchtime 1200 to 1430. If you have any probs leave yr address and I will drop one off to you. I am usually there at lunch but I have to go down to Portsmouth today.

I received my copy today thanks.

I've read it through and have a question. There seems to be more than one legitimate answer to a couple of the questions, eg 'Spam' can refer to a type of meat or an electronic message. In such cases would you like people to put in both answers or is either answer acceptable? Thanks.

I hope I'm not being nit-picking but it seems better to ask you than just guess. Actually, I'm genuinely impressed that one person managed to devise a quiz of this size. As superking said, all the best with the fund-raising.

Hi Juliefer,

With the advent of google and expert quiz takers I now. always, take any answer that is correct even though they may be different. This occurs quite regularly with the film questions.

Any answer that differs from the one I have got, I research thoroughly on Google and Jeeves, and if the second answer is correct I will accept.

Great quiz, I'm half way through, can you help on No 6 section 5, I have found three sports, the question is which one do I pick because Question 7 goes with Question 6.

Ouch. Thought there was only one sport. However as you are enjoying the quiz the answer begins with C. Otherwise my lips are sealed.
