UEFA corrupt?
2005/2006. Chelsea v Liverpool Champions League. Michael Essien launches a nasty challenge on Didi Hamman. He is booked (should have been sent off). Liverpool (big team) complain to UEFA, and Chelsea (small team) lose one of their star players for 2 matches in a retrospective ban.
2008/2009. Manchester United v Aalborg. Wayne Rooney stamps on a player's throat AND launches a thigh-high kick on another defender. Aalborg (small club) not best pleased, especially as they feel that the violent, low-life who scored the equalising goal should not have still been on the pitch, Man United (big team) have to wait while UEFA investigate the incidents. Surprise, surprise. They are doing UEFA about it. The purple-nosed one, in the meantime has blamed THE PRESS for highlighting the nastiness of it all, and basically blaming them for Rooney's misdemeanours.
Don't try to tell me it isn't one rule for one, and one rule for another.

The point I was trying to make about Chelsea is that they were not part of UEFA's G14 Group, and therefore stood no chance against the corrupt nature of the organisation, in the same way (little) Aalborg stood no chance against the might of Manchester United. As my Irish cousin says: "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely".
Yep of course you were.
Ashley cole - John Terry what they got away with last year was appaling and it was only because they play for Chelsea. So your point about power is well made.
And if you were making a point about the G14 why didn't you put it in the question.
Again my Irish cous says "Did you think I came down in the last shower of rain"
