In-front of a crowd of 1,273 the Glassboys deservedly took the 'derby day' spoils in our first league meeting with Halesowen for some 19 years with a superb all-round team performance. A right-foot shot from Leon Broadhurst put Stourbridge ahead on 32 minutes and Ashley Langford doubled our advantage three minutes into the second period, only for Barretta to pull a goal back almost immediately. Leon Broadhurst however restored the two-goal cushion with seventeen minutes to go to help the Glassboys pick up a precious three points.
