Trophy winner
A friend has a Trophy Engraving shop and often has old trophies and cups for sale. Recently a lady having seen an especially attractive cup in the window asked my friend if the existing engraving which was for greyhound racing could be wiped off and new wording entered. She explained that her husband frequently won golfing trophies and teased her because she had had no successes.
My friend said the old details could be removed and asked what wording she would like. She gave him glowing wording to the effect that she had won a Ladies' tournament.
When it was ready she placed it in the centre of the dining table ready for when her husband returned home from work. He was almost speechless as he picked it up to read the inscription whilst firmly embracing her. Then he happend to turn it upside down and found an engraving underneath which read: "For the fastest bitch on the course."
