Carole King - Tapestry - cat's name?
8 Answers
On last Thurday's BBC One Show, Carole King mentioned the name of the cat on the cover of her Tapestry album. I think she mentioned it was named after the father of Ulysses but I can't remember the name - can anybody tell me the name mentioned please? This just to make an obscure quiz question. Cheers, Andy

When the Romans adopted Greek mythology into their own Latin, Odysseus became Ulysses, Zeus became Jupiter, Athena became Minerva etc etc .
In any event Caroles cat is called Telemachus. Her little live on air faux pas about the familial link did not go unnoticed on the Beeb website as she did actually say Telemachus was the father of Odysseus/Ulysses, rather than the son.
