Darren Fletcher, big loss?
As a Man U fan, I have to admit I've always been his biggest critic - I just don't see what he does apart from charge about the pitch with undoubted energy. I've always said after he's touched the ball, the next one to touch it will be a member of the opposition.
OK he had a great game at Arsenal, but these are so rare . . . . he gives the ball away ALL the time and doesn't seem to do enough to justify this.
I am obviously wrong or Fergie wouldn't have him in the team, but now he's going to miss the final we've got everybody saying he's been one of the most important players this season, and we are really going to miss him. Sorry, can't see it.

He's not the greatest technically, but he always gives 110% and is still going strong after 90 minutes. His is one of the unglamorous roles in the team, you can't have 11 Ronaldos you know.

Man U have appealed on "compassionate grounds" (whatever that's meant to be!)
