Can somebody explain who actually 'owns' Carlos Tevez? And who exactly is this Kia Joorabchian character and how does he fit into it?

Joorrabchian - Bought Carlos Tevez registration from Corinthians. Effectivley he was "trasffered" to Joorrabchian.

Joorrabchian then "leased" him to West Ham at the end of that contract - lets forget the attendant furore - He was leased to Man Utd for two years at a cost of between �5m-�10m however Joorrabchian still retains the registration.

It is now being mooted that under the terms of EU law and the "Bosman" ruling. That Tevez is in fact a free agent.

However nobody is aware, as far as I know, of how his contract with Joorrabchian is worded. So I suspect it may run on a bit.

Thanks guys, that's more or less how I see it. To all intents and purposes Tevez is Joorabchian's slave. Did you see him the other day, on the phone at the match and covering his mouth in case of lip-readers? Paranoid or what?
