Manchester City make enquiries about bringing in a new 'keeper

They havn't got a chance, have they? They still have two fit goalkeepers at the club, Gunnar Nielsen and Stuart Taylor. They should be made to play their remaining three games with what they have at the club, shouldn't they? Your thoughts.

Under no circumstances should they be allowed to do this. They have to operate within the rules just like all other league teams. Apart from Manchester United, obviously, who are allowed to get away with just about anything...

As Tony Cascarino has said in today's Times, it's ridiculous that they've loaned out someone like Joe Hart without a recall clause in the contract (apparently). They are the richest club in the world with 9 keepers on their books and yet they are forced to try to use the emergency loan rule.

they said on the BBC this morning that Man City (spit) have 9 keepers on their books at the moment - no way should they be allowed to flout the laws just because they have a bob or two in the bank

I don't think a recall is an option - under the rules of a season loan, recalling a player is forbidden. They have a fit International keeper in Gunner Nielsen so they have to promote a youngster from the lower ranks. If they were involved in meaningless fixtures I think they could borrow a keeper, but they're not so they can't !
