Not sure if anyone has chosen him x-ray, if they have they should get 4 points per goal along with MOM possibly so they will shoot up the league. It's early days and there are plenty more goals to come for most of us........

The Knockout stages start next Saturday June 26th and you can then use 3 Players from any of the 16 Teams left in. From Tuesday July 6th you can use 4 Players from the Teams competing in the Semi-Finals and beyond.

I was only thinking this morning about the rules regarding number of players in the later stages.

From Saturday onwards it will be crucial to use your Transfer Button wisely as with 15 Transfers available for the Final stages it will be important to take out all the Players who will no longer be participating........

Thats it...............I GIVE UP. Made two changes, getting rid of the donkeys that are Terry and Cole, and replace them with a couple of Dutch defenders. What happens?? I'll tell you what happens...........the goon in the Dutch goal gives away a penalty in the 93rd minute, thus costing me two much-needed clean sheets. Aaaaaaaarghh!!!!!!!!

I did the same, got rid of Gerrard and Rooney but luckily for me, my Dutch stars were Robben and Sneijder who have scored some points.
About time my luck changed - every time I've played Rooney and Torres they have failed. .
However I don't think I will catch you up in the league. Good luck

Why isn't the league in points order now?

craft ! If you check the League Tables it is all in order with yourself lying 23rd at present, but you have still got 13 transfers available which is more than most.
If you play your cards right you could do well from semi-Finals onwards. Don't forget that apart from the Final there is a 3rd and 4th Place Match to consider !

Torres and Ronaldo let me down again last night, I was hoping for more points from them.
Amazing that the fancied stars of this tournament have failed to deliver - well some of them. I seem to have picked the right teams but the wrong players !!!
Completely lost today with no football being played.

You are right x-ray, some of the major stars have not performed at all. I still have a hunch it will be Brazil v Argentina in the Final barring a major upset.
