The manager made some serious errors, he played a team that had no balance, the man that he waited for as his defensive midfield anchor was either woefully unfit or not up to the job. He picked Upson despite the fact he had two possibly 3 players who are better players he then moved Terry to accomodate Upson. James Millner couldn't do the job he needed to do. When you make substitutions they are supposed to change the game but he changed like for like and finally on form if his name wasn't Rooney he would never have started.
No, Mick ... I haven't.
But ...
1. Loyalty to your friends should be absolute and unquestioning.
2. If JT had had the balls to say "I made a stupid mistake." ...
... then Wayne Bridge might have said ... "I accept your apology. We had split up anyway. Now we've got a World Cup to prepare for."
But no ... cowardly Terry had to hide away in Stamford Bridge, with his adoring Chelski sheep.
Sometimes, a Captian has to stand up and be counted.
When it came to the crunch, Terry was too cowardly to face the music.
That is NOT Captain material.
Oh, and one other small fact ... John T was, of course ... married !!

Mick I have watched every single game (not just england) of the world cup thank you, and wont be told I cant post on here especially when its not even your post. I just dont see what difference it is going to make now moaning about it. Lets just make sure we have a good team and manager for next one. I agree that terry was a good captain, seemed to be the only one that had any faith, although I reckon he didnt agree with alot of what fabio was doing and that frustrated him.
