Comment on England defeat
Thanks Carlton 23 for redirecting me to this page. Here's my original comment:- I'm not a footie fan and rarely watch it, but I did see England's defeat on TV. Maybe I'm not qualified to comment but it seemed to me that the opposition, Germany, took more long shots up the field towards England's goal and let their players sort it out, whereas England seemed to concentrate more on short play passing around from one individual to another - or at least trying to. Interesting to know what other viewers thought about it.

FIFA surely now have to move with the times and introduce video refs like in cricket, rugby, tennis
Not that I think if Lampards goal had counted would we have beaten the Germans, our defence was like a sieve all game, the Germans could have scored far more than 4 and it looked to me like they still had another gear if they'd needed to use it
