I love Rufus Hound, Leigh Francis (Keith Lemon), Lee Evans but the master has to be Billy Connolly. Also love Morecambe & Wise (good programme about them recently) Kelly Monteith, Rich Hall, and Lucille Ball.

There's bound to be more. Richard Ayaode is fabby too: Go Moss!

I like Peter Kay and Phoenix Nights has to be one of my favourites
Bernard Manning RIP
Peter Kay is still one of my favourites, however, for some odd reason this afternoon I got to thinking about Phil Cool- whatever happened to him? He was brilliant!
Never seen The IT Crowd but watched Richard Ayaode on Big Fat Quiz of the Year last night and he was very funny. He and David Mitchell are achingly witty.
Russel Howard has to be one of the best around at the moment, although i must admit that there are numerous comedians i would happily pay money to go and see live.
Ditto Bernard Manning.....from the days before the PC brigade took over

Hi Mazie, yeah he's good. I read his autobiography and seems like a really nice genuine guy.
Oh no oranger....och well, it takes all sorts lol
Hi B00, ahhh Phil Cool was that rubber faced comedian wasn't he? Reminded me of that Scifi show V for some reason?
Phil Cool sometimes appears on here B00. Lee Evens reminds me of Phil Cool.
David Mitchell, Paul Merton, Clive Anderson, John Sessions (though he seems to have gone to ground).

plus Radio comedy like Just a Minute, Havent a Clue........

Father Ted (on the daft front) and I loved Porridge.....

Also a lt Monty P fan
I like Peter Kay and Katherine Tate, lots more too, but they are my faves at the moment!....
Anyone on QI, Michael McIntyre.
Ooo nice one scotman, he's on at Burnley in October, it's very tempting! Thanks :-)
Spike Milligan, Lee Evans (got tickets to see him woop!) and although many find offensive at times, Chubby Brown. Barry Crier and the "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue' radio team. I love the 'Hamish and Dougal' show Barry Crier and Graeme Garden do too!

Hi Tiggs, I'd thoroughly recommend The IT Crowd, it's really good.

TheHousehusband, good call on Russell Howard, he's good at improv.
joeluke, I was never a fan of BM, but hey each to their own.
DTcrosswordfan, like all of them too (cringed a wee bit when Clive Anderson took the utter Fosters out of the Bee Gees tho)

Hi welshlibranr, YES Catherine Tate is fab, pure love her :)

yep scotman that's they guy

Hi boxtops, I was rather surprised at Michael McIntyre on the Big Fat Quiz as he upstaged quite a few of the comics on there.
Jack Dee makes me laugh, but I find Michael McIntyre a bit irritating.
I am off to see Russel Howard next month in Nottingham
Hi haysi.

Russell Howard, Dara O'Briain (Hilarious on Mock The Week when he's trying to control the room and fails miserably), Billy Connolly.

Bill Hicks is someone I've mused about in the past. He was fantastic and died at 32, in 1994. Far, far too early.
Richard Pryor Chris Rock Steve Martin Dan Ackroyd Billy Connolly Jethro
IMO I find Russell Howard/Brand McIntyre Al Murray Lee Evans try too hard and therefore grate on me!!

Who remembers Blaster Bates/??

Oh forgot about Paul Merton So quick..............Hes Class!!
OH
I think I need to watch it right from the beginning Haysi. wonder if they show them On Demand.

I kind of remember Kelly Monteith. He was on tv when I was a kid and my dad loved the Paul Hogan show.
