was a great tournament, Murray played loads better than I expected
Question Author
me too, very impressed x
It was a good championship, and a good match today.
He gave it everything. He didn't lose his temper, little frustrated at times. Well done Andy for making it to the final.
Congraulations to Roger. Not in any doubt. He's the best.
indeed.

he went out fighting to the last .. he should be proud of himself
Didn't they both play well. Proud of Mr Murray .
I think he has won a lot more fans as well
Is he now Scottish again...?
Told ya.
Was the weight of the nations hopes and expectations too much of a burden? I blame the Mail on Sunday.
Federer pure class pure genious.....a good try Murray but he lost to a tennis great
Yep!

yes mark!
So well done to both of them, good game and good win for Federer and such an achievement for Murray getting into the final. Some great tennis this year, I'd been getting a little bored by it over the last few years but a good year this one.
Murray played better than ever, but Federer is always that bit better.
Federer is one of the greatest players ever. Losing to him is a disappointment, but certainly not an embarrassment. Murray did very well.

Don't forget a Brit won the mixed doubles yesterday, and the England cricket team has just marmalised the Aussies again. Also, the England women's cricket team look like overhauling the Indians' total, fingers crossed.

Shame about the footballers, but you can't have everything.

Right, now, the Olympics.

nice to see a bit of emotion!

He must have done well to get to the final which is not easy in any competitive sport... so well done to him.
Had to spend more on bets this year than other years but I won in the end

Well done Fed, unlucky Murray
