With all the DVD's from the HM Coastguard, Police, etc. how irresponsible does this seem to you. I know that these people are the best professionals in this sport, but I have kittens thinking of our local youths trying this off Beachy Head, or somewhere equally inappropriate.

that it's mad, but some people are. If one of them is severely injured or worse killed, will it continue

I bottle it on a 10m platform, the only cliff I'm on is near Dover..... Pure nutters IMO
And the winner gets,

A Darwin Award!
i watched a piece on the news recently, the divers, or what passes for someone throwing themselves off a sheer cliff was far worse than this.
Like base jumping, totally mad. Some people are thrill junkies and the more dangerous the jump the more they love it.
Some loon did a jump off the top of The Shard here in London, which is quite insane. Don't know how he managed to evade security, this was before it officially opened.
Darwin awards are for those who takes themselves permanently out of the gene pool, or so i thought.

This lot may just be practicing for the Darwin awards, but the idea this "sport" has to be practiced makes me shake my head in disbelief. And people are paying to watch this - seems ghoulish to me.
the same sort of people who go to watch someone do a tightrope walk across Niagara Falls, to see them fall, ghoulish is right.
I realise now why ems avatar is in black and white.
Baldric, why?
it's Cary Grant by the way.
You give no leeway for 'humour' imo.
really, so you know me then?
just going on the tone of your response (17:34) a bit of points scoring imo
I mean no offence to you, take it as you please.
not into points scoring, just a bit of fun
likewise.

;o)
I like the Darwin awards, some of the recipients have truly gone out in style.
