Go Heather!
Heather Watson manages to beat a top-ten player for the first time ever! And in straight sets too, other Aga Radwanska. Coming off the back of a slightly poor run of form since her second title at the start of the year, and bodes well for the future if she can remain competitive with most of the world's best.
With Laura Robson set to make her comeback from injury shortly, could we have two such stars in the top 50 or so of the women's game?

Poor Laura. She's put off her comeback yet again, she's not ready. Having dropped down below the 100 mark, she will have a lot to do to regain her top 50 ranking. Heather lost her match today to the No.13 ranked player. Still, she got to the fourth round, a first for her in this particular tournament.

Yes, it seems a shame that Laura is once again delaying -- has been toying apparently with a return over the last month or so but, for whatever reason, hasn't been able to show up. I do hop it's soon. She has the talent to push for and hold a top-30 ranking for a few years; and so does Heather, it seems, who is really looking like she can compete with the top players.
